However, when he climbs jubilantly through the tower window, he finds Rapunzel gagged and chained to the wall. The two are currently living happily ever after.Flynn and Rapunzel's first meeting.After arriving at the tower, he becomes worried when Rapunzel does not answer his calls, but her hair soon comes down to let him climb up. Eugene continues to comfort and be there for Rapunzel as she still at times struggles over Cassandra's betrayal and Rapunzel encourages Eugene and his ever-growing relationship with his father, King Edmund. Did anybody stop to think how old Eugene or Flynn(whoever you would like to call him) was in TAngled. Eugene begins to understand her feelings and begins to show more compassion and affection towards her as a result. Realizing marriage is his only hope of saving Lance, Eugene leaves Rapunzel for Stalyan.
One of the most interesting parts of this behind-the-scenes look at Tangled was seeing how much effort the animators put into creating Flynn Rider's appearance. Eugene declares his forgiveness towards his father who manages to overcome the Mindtrap's power and destroy it himself, freeing him and the Brotherhood and embraces Eugene as father and son finally and officially reconcile their relationship.
The name's Flynn Rider. Eugene smiles and dies, leaving a heartbroken Rapunzel to hopelessly finish the healing incantation. Rapunzel corrects him, and he reaffirms that it is the happiest day of both their lives. This is seen after he meets and forms a relationship with Rapunzel.
Those characters, if they're done right, can be so funny. "These floating lanterns were a sign from the king and queen who were searching their beloved missing daughter.While fighting with the guards and Maximus after escaping the Snuggly Duckling, Flynn uses a frying pan as a weapon and is very impressed.
A weakened Eugene witnesses as Rapunzel uses the combined Sundrop and Moonstone to save Cassandra's life and restore everyone's health through the Healing Incantation for the last time before releasing the power back into the cosmos where it belongs. He pauses for a second, evidently confused and shocked, and is then mortally stabbed by Mother Gothel. They're good guys, so I guess we sort of took that to the other extreme. Fortunately, Rapunzel and a reformed Cassandra manage to escape from their imprisonment and work together, finally managing to defeat Zhan Tiri and destroy the evil entity for good and at last reuniting the Sundrop and Moonstone.
But, may I just say...hi. „ ~ Flynn introducing himself to Rapunzel. When Rapunzel sees his silhouette steering the boat away from her, she is tricked into believing Eugene abandoned her and returns with Mother Gothel to the tower out of despair. During his entrapment, Eugene discovers Edmund's satchel contains his childhood toys, causing him to realize Edmund has been watching over him and is soon rescued by Rapunzel. The princess' refusal to be fooled by Flynn's charisma, and genuine interest in his life and struggles, would be the first motivators to dropping the "Flynn Rider" persona and accepting who he alluded to being in the orphanage, which was caring, starry-eyed, and selfless.Eugene reunited with his father, King Edmund.Eugene and Edmund beginning to make amends.When the two emerge onto the banks of a river in the forest, Eugene is clearly unsettled and even alarmed by Rapunzel's glowing hair. Fortunately, Rapunzel refuses to give up and crashes the wedding.
Unfortunately, they must put their engagement on hold once again until they deal with Cassandra once and for all after she returns to the kingdom to exact her revenge.Eugene and Rapunzel are shown later after Maximus and Pascal manage to get the rings back, but the couple (and everyone else) are shocked at the grotesque-looking Maximus and Pascal, both covered with tar, who offer the rings.
